We are dedicated to ensuring that all employees and future talent have equal opportunities to thrive. We offer comprehensive DE&I training and awareness programmes to educate and empower our workforce, including specific ‘Inclusive Leadership’ training designed for senior leaders of Sony Europe. Our inclusive hiring practices ensure equitable opportunities for all candidates. Additionally, our ‘GROWTH Mentoring Programme’ and leadership development programmes support the growth and advancement of underrepresented groups.

Fostering Inclusion

Fostering inclusion is at the heart of our culture and aligns with our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We actively celebrate and promote awareness days and campaigns such as International Women’s Day, Pride Month, Sony’s Global Diversity Month, and many others. These events provide opportunities to honour the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our employees, while also raising awareness and driving meaningful conversations about equity and inclusion.

Throughout the year, we host workshops, community meet-ups, panel discussions, and cultural events that highlight the importance of diversity and encourage active participation from all employees. By embracing these initiatives, we aim to create a workplace where every individual feels seen, heard, and valued.

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and networks play a vital role in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. These groups, such as EDGE (Employees Driving Gender Equity), Women in Tech, Accessibility Champions Network, Volunteering Ambassadors, LGBTQ+ Alliance, Wellbeing Champions and Menopause Support provide platforms for employees to connect, share experiences, and advocate for inclusivity. These groups go beyond peer support and raising awareness, but also contribute to our business goals by offering diverse perspectives that drive change.
