The eligible cameras and lenses listed below can be covered.
These cameras and lenses must have been purchased from an authorized Sony dealer in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or Switzerland. Any products imported from outside the EEA/Switzerland are excluded. Please visit https://www.sony.co.uk/locale-selector and confirm location of authorized Sony dealer by “Find a Store” function.

Please only send the equipment and accessories which are necessary for repair or cleaning. You only need to send cameras and/or lenses with caps that are intended for service, but no other accessories such as memory cards, batteries, tripod plates, lens hoods. Lenses should not be attached to the camera when only the camera is meant to have service.

The packing of the product (as well as original packaging), may not be returned.

Transport costs may be payable for products returned to an address outside the European Union.

How to qualify?

To qualify you need to be a professional photographer and you need to own 5 pieces of eligible Professional Sony equipment. Please check the full requirements below.

1. Age and country of residence

You must be aged 18 or over, and an individual residing in Germany/Switzerland/Austria/the United Kingdom/the Netherlands.

2. Professional status

You must currently be operating as a professional photographer, providing customer invoices as a mandatory requirement of proof. Any documents that prove you work as a professional photographer, such as business registration documents, company statements, employee ID, and business cards should also be submitted. These will be jury-assessed to ensure that they meet the professional standard criteria. Assistants to professional photographers, part-timers and students are NOT qualified to apply.

3. Product qualification

You need to own at least 2 bodies and 3 lenses from below list. In case of body, you need to own at least one camera listed in the A-group.
And these cameras and lenses must have been purchased from an authorized Sony dealer in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or Switzerland. Please visit https://www.sony.co.uk/locale-selector and confirm location of authorized Sony dealer by “Find a Store” function.

To make the proof of purchase easier for you, it is sufficient if you only include receipts for the minimum number of qualifying products (2 cameras and 3 lenses).

  • What is the Sony Imaging PRO Support? It is a membership service to support shooting activities of individual professional photographers who own Sony imaging products.
  • Is the Sony Imaging PRO Support a special servicing centre? What does it entail? The following services are available for the eligible cameras and lenses.

    • Free collection and delivery of products that are being repaired
